2 months already!!

Image
Well this post is about a week overdue, but I wanted to document it anyway. We went to Trevor's 2month check up on Sept 17th & he is a big boy Weight: 12lbs 11oz. (90th percentile) Height: 23.5 inches (90th percentile) Head size: can't remember the inches (50th percentile).. This is odd for me my other 2 kids had large heads & were always in the 95th percentile. He is a great baby & I have no complaints. He sleeps very well in fact will sleep from 9pm-about 7am each night. We realize that we are very lucky & we are also very grateful to have him in our family & can't imagine it any other way. Having 3 kids I have always been told would be difficult. I thought that since I have a 5 year gap that it would be easier. True it's easier in the fact that I don't have other toddlers all wanting my attention, but It's hard in the sense that I have older kids who are involved in older activities & juggling taking them to soccer games/practices ...

Today is the day...

Today is the big day we've been waiting for for the last 9 months. I am scheduled to be induced today which is the good news the bad part is that I am not scheduled to go to the hospital until 8:00pm. This will surely make for a LONG day. Last night I was talking to my kids about our plan for this weekend and explaining where they would be going & when they would be able to come up & see the baby & so forth. I wanted to document these cute stories so that I will never forget them. Parker is too cute! He is my child that is very compassionate & caring. He is very worried about me and kept asking if I would be okay having a baby & told me that he saw on TV that I need to breath so it won't hurt. (not sure what he watched, but it made me laugh) It's different having older kids, He doesn't remember me having Hannah obviously, he was only 2 1/2 yrs old then, but this time he's kind of understanding it. He remembers me in the hospital after my thyroid ...

The Countdown is on

I went in to the Dr today & found out that I will be induced next Thursday July 15th. I am so excited & nervous at the same time. It's been over 5 years since I had a baby & I am nervous that I won't know what to do. We are all getting so excited & can't wait for this week to pass.

Getting ready for Baby!

Image
Well it's almost July which means that this little boy is about to be born. We have been keeping ourselves busy this summer and are trying to be ready for this baby boy to join our family soon. In my previous post I mentioned that we painted the boys room. This is a sample of what it looks like. The stripes were NOT fun to paint, but we did it anyway . This last weekend I went with a friend of mine who is really into garage sales. I was able to find a crib/changing table/dresser/shelf combo, crib mattress (which was much nicer than the one I have saved from my 2 kids), and a few other fun finds. I really think I could get into garage sales. I was on a HIGH all day. It was a lot of fun. Here's the crib all set up. Here's the view of the changing table, dresser, & shelves. One of my favorite finds was these cute shoes and Levis . The blue shoes were only $0.50 & the New balance ones were only $1.00. Well as my Due date approaches we are all getting anxi...

School is almost over

Wow I can't believe how long it's been since I posted last. May was a crazy busy month, filled with many activities. Parker finished his first season of soccer & started his first season of T-Ball. As I mentioned in my previous post I have been working at Lagoon. It hasn't been fun, but will hopefully be worth it when my kids get to enjoy the park all summer long. The best part is I only have 2 days left!! Travis has been busy with Church & work. Hannah has been enjoying me working at Lagoon since she gets to spend the time I am working with my Mom. She so loves her meemaw!! This past weekend we started a project of getting Parker's room ready for the baby. We are in a mess now but their room is gonna look good. I'll post pics soon of the newly painted room (that is when it's completed) We will be starting our living room next. Only about 6weeks left to get it done. I'll post more once life settles down! (if that ever happens)
