School is almost over

Wow I can't believe how long it's been since I posted last. May was a crazy busy month, filled with many activities. Parker finished his first season of soccer & started his first season of T-Ball.

As I mentioned in my previous post I have been working at Lagoon. It hasn't been fun, but will hopefully be worth it when my kids get to enjoy the park all summer long. The best part is I only have 2 days left!!
Travis has been busy with Church & work.

Hannah has been enjoying me working at Lagoon since she gets to spend the time I am working with my Mom.

She so loves her meemaw!!

This past weekend we started a project of getting Parker's room ready for the baby. We are in a mess now but their room is gonna look good. I'll post pics soon of the newly painted room (that is when it's completed) We will be starting our living room next. Only about 6weeks left to get it done.

I'll post more once life settles down!

Who really reads my blog???

Well I haven't been good at updating my blog the past little while & often wonder if anyone really even reads my blog. I enjoy reading blogs of friends and family & get bothered when they don't update for months at a time. Well now I'm that person that isn't updating my blog. (oops!!) So I wanted to pass along a little bit of news and happenings at our home lately. Parker is enjoying being a 1st grader. He loves school & has just recently found a true love of reading. His favorite books right now are the Junie B. Jones (series) & The Magic School bus (series). He can't wait for spring to be here so he can start playing soccer again. Hannah keeps us busy. She is definitely a girl and has the attitude that goes along with it. She enjoys her dance class every week and preschool 2 X's a week. Expressing my feelings.

So this post has taken me a long time to write. I never thought I was the kind of person that kept things inside, and didn't know how to express my feelings. Usually I confront things before they become an issue, but over the past 2 weeks I haven't known how to express my feelings on a particular situation. So since I think of the whole blogging thing as a form of Journal I thought no better way to get a few things off my mind. In November of 2007 I had a miscarriage, when I was 10 weeks pregnant. I didn't want anyone to know that I had a miscarriage so I just kept it inside. (I told family of course) Since then I have been unsuccessful in getting pregnant, so two weeks ago I finally went to talk to my Dr. When I was there he did the routine yearly exam and felt that I had a lump (Nodule) on my thyroid.
