Mackey Family

I am not very good at taking pics of my kids.  I never have been.  Here are a few of Olivia that show how much she is changing Olivia on the day she was born.   1 week old.  2 weeks old. 4 weeks old  5 weeks old   7 weeks old  I was trying to catch her smile in these last few pics, but I missed it pretty much every time.  Olivia is getting more fun.  She smiles and coos all the time.  (especially for mommy) She still has her days and nights mixed up.  She is up every 3 hours at night.   Then during the day she sleeps for about 5-6 hours each morning. Our other kids were sleeping 7-8 hours a night by now.  Oh well she is sure cute & we love her so much.

Parker & Hannah started school on September 4th.  The yearly pic taken in front of our fence.  Hannah is in 2nd grade this year.   Her teacher is Mrs. Johanson. (same teacher Parker had in 2nd grade)   We love her and are so excited for a fun year for Hannah.  Parker is in 4th grade this year.   His teacher is Mr. Joy.   He is a new teacher, just fresh out of college & has been teaching at our school since the middle of last year.  So far from what we've seen he is a great teacher & we are so excited for another great school year. Without their backpacks. (Parker wasn't loving all the pics I was taking.) 

I finally uploaded the pics from my camera so I thought I'd post some of the things we did. on August 17th (Travis's last day of Paternity Leave)  We thought it would be fun to get out of the house & go to the Davis County Fair.  We have gone every year since we moved to Layton & enjoy it.  One of our favorite exhibits each year is the Creature Encounters.  Parker with the Tarantula  Trevor with the Tarantula Hannah with the Scorpion  Trevor with the Scorpion  Parker with the Scorpion  Trevor playing in the Sand.  our balloon animals.  Trevor in the petting zoo.  I just loved this pic.  He was so excited that he could touch all the animals.  Hannah on the pony rides  Parker & Trevor on the pony rides.
