Thankful catchup

Today I'd like to write about a few more of the things I am Thankful for.

4. I am very Thankful for my Mom.
I always have & always will be close with my mom. She is my best friend. She is always there for me & is the best mom in the whole world. She is also the Best Meemaw to my children. They love her so much, and she has a way of making them each feel special & loved. My Mom has had a rough year this past year. She had to be on Chemo meds for Hep C. She was losing her hair by the handfuls & eventually decided to cut it all off. I was there for the cutting & It was a fun & emotional experience. I love my mom so much & appreciate all she does for me & my family. I am so very thankful for my mom.

5. I am thankful for technology.

I really like technology. Blogger & Facebook allows me to keep in touch with friends & family. I'm kind of a nosey person & enjoy reading about every one's lives.


6. I am thankful for Deals!


I am almost done with buying Christmas presents this year all because of Kohls.com. I have waited for deals & bought things on sale & am so glad to go into the holiday season with about 75% of my Christmas gifts bought already.


My friend Jamie told me about the Amazon mom club & let me tell you I love deals & paying less for things. I joined the Amazon mom's club (which is free) & am able to buy diapers for way cheaper than you can buy them at walmart, sams, or costco. I am a huggies diaper fan & getting them cheaper makes for a happy me. Now if I could figure out how to get formula for cheap??? I am thankful for finding Deals.

Hannah is such a good big sister.   She loves to hold Olivia & play with her.  One day she got really quiet & I went in to check on her & she had fallen asleep with Olivia on her.  Tooo cute!!  Olivia 3 months old!  Trying to catch a smile on camera.  So Cute!!! Expressing my feelings.

So this post has taken me a long time to write. I never thought I was the kind of person that kept things inside, and didn't know how to express my feelings. Usually I confront things before they become an issue, but over the past 2 weeks I haven't known how to express my feelings on a particular situation. So since I think of the whole blogging thing as a form of Journal I thought no better way to get a few things off my mind. In November of 2007 I had a miscarriage, when I was 10 weeks pregnant. I didn't want anyone to know that I had a miscarriage so I just kept it inside. (I told family of course) Since then I have been unsuccessful in getting pregnant, so two weeks ago I finally went to talk to my Dr. When I was there he did the routine yearly exam and felt that I had a lump (Nodule) on my thyroid. He informed me that this could have been the cause of the miscarriage & why I haven't been able to get pregnant. He suggested that I go the hospital to have a ultr...

Here are our Halloween pics.   Halloween was Super warm this year.  It was fun to stay home & go trick or treating in our neighborhood.  These pics were taken before our Ward Trunk-or-treat which was held the Saturday before Halloween.  Trevor was a Spider.  Parker was the Grim Reaper.  Hannah was a Wicked Fairy  & Olivia was a pumpkin.     Our boys!  Our Girls!
