Wow how do the days keep coming & going so quickly!!!
8. I am thankful for Friday night "Date Nights" with my husband.


Almost a year ago a group of neighbors asked us to be part of their "datenight" group. You watch the kids (13 of them) 1 Friday a month & the other 3 you get 3 1/2 hrs with your spouse. I have to tell you that I look forward to friday at least 3 times a month & I enjoy the time I have with Travis. I am so thankful for Friday night "Date Nights".

9. I am thankful for glasses.
Hannah has been wearing glasses since right before she turned 2 years old. I just love how adorable she looks in them. Well we recently went to the eye Dr. & he told us that her Right eye is pretty weak & tends to be LAZY. So we have to patch her left eye every night to strenthen her weaker eye. I'm thankful that she has the opportunity to have glasses to help her see.

10. I am thankful for Hearing Aids.

I realized just now that I don't really have pics of Parker's hearing aids. He has his Dad's ears & in most pics you don't even notice them. I am so thankful for hearing aids and how they have helped Parker to hear, learn & communicate. I just had parent teacher conferences for Parker & he is academically right where he needs to be. He is in the top reading group in his class & loves reading. I am thankful for hearing aids which have made this all possible for Parker.

Hannah is such a good big sister.   She loves to hold Olivia & play with her.  One day she got really quiet & I went in to check on her & she had fallen asleep with Olivia on her.  Tooo cute!!  Olivia 3 months old!  Trying to catch a smile on camera.  So Cute!!! Who really reads my blog???

Well I haven't been good at updating my blog the past little while & often wonder if anyone really even reads my blog. I enjoy reading blogs of friends and family & get bothered when they don't update for months at a time. Well now I'm that person that isn't updating my blog. (oops!!) So I wanted to pass along a little bit of news and happenings at our home lately. Parker is enjoying being a 1st grader. He loves school & has just recently found a true love of reading. His favorite books right now are the Junie B. Jones (series) & The Magic School bus (series). He can't wait for spring to be here so he can start playing soccer again. Hannah keeps us busy. She is definitely a girl and has the attitude that goes along with it. She enjoys her dance class every week and preschool 2 X's a week. Expressing my feelings.

So this post has taken me a long time to write. I never thought I was the kind of person that kept things inside, and didn't know how to express my feelings. Usually I confront things before they become an issue, but over the past 2 weeks I haven't known how to express my feelings on a particular situation. So since I think of the whole blogging thing as a form of Journal I thought no better way to get a few things off my mind. In November of 2007 I had a miscarriage, when I was 10 weeks pregnant. I didn't want anyone to know that I had a miscarriage so I just kept it inside. (I told family of course) Since then I have been unsuccessful in getting pregnant, so two weeks ago I finally went to talk to my Dr. When I was there he did the routine yearly exam and felt that I had a lump (Nodule) on my thyroid.
