Well since the year is less than 1/2 a day from being over I thought I'd post about our Christmas. We had such a fun Christmas this year & here are a few pics to show our Christmas morning fun!! The presents all around the tree on Christmas Eve. Parker woke up at 5 am & we told him he had to wait till at least 6:00. This pic proves that we were all (even Trevor) out of bed & down stairs a little after 6:0am. (the rest of the pics are all out of order, but oh well) Hannah showing off her Legos . (that's Parker's Bumble bee pillow pet in the background) Travis & Trevor trying out Trevor's new pillow pet after opening all the presents. I LOVE our Nativity Set. Parker showing off his Star wars legos . Me asleep after all the opening of presents. (we were way TIRED!!) Look at how cute & Happy this little guy is. We love him!! The whole family in our matching Christmas pj's that I made. Another cute family pic. Hannah showing off her Big...

Sunday afternoons.

Sunday afternoons at our house are quite lazy. Travis usually doesn't get home till around 5 or 6 pm, so we try & find things to do to keep us busy. This particular week Hannah wanted to do my hair. She got all the clips she could find & started putting them all in my hair. Parker decided to join in on the fun. Here's some pics of the finished product. Trevor looking so cute!! Parker's work of art. Hannah's masterpiece. All of us. All of us again.

It's great to be "8"

Parker turned "8" in November & was baptized on December 4th. (the pics are out of order again, but oh well.) Here is a pic of Parker building his Lego racer. His 8th birthday cake thanks to Meemaw. A figure 8 racetrack made with reeses peanut butter cups (or Chocolate Muffins, which is what Parker used to call them) Our whole family after Parker's Baptism. (Isn't he handsome in his suit!!) Mom & Parker Parker with his Primary Teachers Sis. Smith & Sis. Bruce. Parker with Grandma Great. Parker with two of his buddies Brigham & Cole. Parker & Dad Before his baptism. The Program for his Baptism. The day was wonderful. The talks given & the spirit that was there that day were amazing. I know that it is a day that we will all remember, especially Parker.

Well I can't believe how fast the month of November just flew by. Even though the month is over I am still going to write down all the things that I am Thankful for. (this is way out of order, but it's the way the pics loaded up. so here it goes) 11. I am Thankful for my younger brother Kevin. Kevin is the best brother in the world. Sometimes we don't have the same views on things, but I Love him so much. He is very caring & always looking for ways to help others. I am so thankful to have Kevin as my brother. 12. I am Thankful for Spending time with my family. I so enjoy going fun places & doing fun things with my husband and kids. 13. I am Thankful for my Dad. I think I have the best Dad in the world. He tends to be quiet, but I know that he loves me & that he is always there to help me. I know that he loves my mom. I am so thankful for my Dad. 14. I am Thankful for Trevor. Trevor is 4 1/2 months old now. At his 4 month checkup in November he weighed 15lbs ...

Wow how do the days keep coming & going so quickly!!! 8. I am thankful for Friday night "Date Nights" with my husband. Almost a year ago a group of neighbors asked us to be part of their "datenight" group. You watch the kids (13 of them) 1 Friday a month & the other 3 you get 3 1/2 hrs with your spouse. I have to tell you that I look forward to friday at least 3 times a month & I enjoy the time I have with Travis. I am so thankful for Friday night "Date Nights". (photo courtesy of Parker, Sorry it's the only one I have of the 2 of us.) 9. I am thankful for glasses. Hannah has been wearing glasses since right before she turned 2 years old. I just love how adorable she looks in them. Well we recently went to the eye Dr. & he told us that her Right eye is pretty weak & tends to be LAZY. So we have to patch her left eye every night to strenthen her weaker eye. I'm thankful that she has the opportunity to have glasses to help her se...

Thanks continued...

So I'm still behind but I'm up to day 7. 7. I am thankful for our Country & all the Veterans who serve in the Military. A Veteran is someone, who at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the United States of America for an amount up to and including their life. That is beyond honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact. I am so thankful for all those men and women who have fought so that I can be free. Thank you to those who have served our country, and thank you to their families for supporting them while they gave their time, hearts, and often their lives - to people they never knew personally.
