Becoming a Big Girl!




Well it's been forever since we have posted anything here. Life sometimes takes over too quickly. This past week we were busy with work and church stuff every night.


The newest news in our family is that Hannah was finally moved out of her crib and into a twin bed last night. When I asked her if she wanted a big girl bed she started to cry and said, "No Mommy, I am still a baby." The easy fix was to take her to the store and let her pick out Princess sheets and a comforter for her bed. She woke up this morning and was so excited that she had slept in her big girl (or as she says "Big girlo") bed all night. Now the real fun will come when she realizes that she can get out of bed on her own. We are hoping this will help complete the potty training process.


Also this past week Dewey got his first haircut. He looks so much cuter now. I never thought I would enjoy having a dog in our house, since I never really had a dog growing up, but it has been fun. I was the one that didn't want the dog and now I'm the one he loves the most.

Awesome! We just put Katie in a toddler bed this weekend. She thinks it is pretty cool. I feel like I haven't seen you forever. We will need to get together someday.

Hannah is such a good big sister.   She loves to hold Olivia & play with her.  One day she got really quiet & I went in to check on her & she had fallen asleep with Olivia on her.  Tooo cute!!  Olivia 3 months old!  Trying to catch a smile on camera.  So Cute!!! Who really reads my blog???

Well I haven't been good at updating my blog the past little while & often wonder if anyone really even reads my blog. I enjoy reading blogs of friends and family & get bothered when they don't update for months at a time. Well now I'm that person that isn't updating my blog. (oops!!) So I wanted to pass along a little bit of news and happenings at our home lately. Parker is enjoying being a 1st grader. He loves school & has just recently found a true love of reading. His favorite books right now are the Junie B. Jones (series) & The Magic School bus (series). He can't wait for spring to be here so he can start playing soccer again. Hannah keeps us busy. She is definitely a girl and has the attitude that goes along with it. She enjoys her dance class every week and preschool 2 X's a week. Haircut

Hannah has been telling me for months that she needs a haircut and that Janae needed to do it. On Sunday afternoon we went to my mom's house and Janae was there to cut Hannah's hair. She told Janae that she wanted a princess haircut. Here's one of the only before pics I took. The princess cut in progress. (That is my brother Kevin in the background) All the hair that was cut off.
