Zoo day

Well this blog is way late but oh well we had fun so we are posting it anyway. On Feb 25th we along with lots of others took advantage of Free Zoo Day at the Hogle Zoo. We went with Hannah's preschool group. We went in the afternoon so Parker was home from school & got to come with us.

Of course we went on the Carousel.

We had a great time and the weather was also very nice for that time of year. Right after we got in the car to leave it started raining, luckily for us we were safe in our cars and heading home by then.

Hannah is such a good big sister.   She loves to hold Olivia & play with her.  One day she got really quiet & I went in to check on her & she had fallen asleep with Olivia on her.  Tooo cute!!  Olivia 3 months old!  Trying to catch a smile on camera.  So Cute!!! Who really reads my blog???

Well I haven't been good at updating my blog the past little while & often wonder if anyone really even reads my blog. I enjoy reading blogs of friends and family & get bothered when they don't update for months at a time. Well now I'm that person that isn't updating my blog. (oops!!) So I wanted to pass along a little bit of news and happenings at our home lately. Parker is enjoying being a 1st grader. He loves school & has just recently found a true love of reading. His favorite books right now are the Junie B. Jones (series) & The Magic School bus (series). He can't wait for spring to be here so he can start playing soccer again. Hannah keeps us busy. She is definitely a girl and has the attitude that goes along with it. She enjoys her dance class every week and preschool 2 X's a week. She's finally been convinced to write her name H-a-n-n-a-h instead of H-A-n-n-A-H. This battle took a while cause she insisted that she needed c

Haircut

Hannah has been telling me for months that she needs a haircut and that Janae needed to do it. On Sunday afternoon we went to my mom's house and Janae was there to cut Hannah's hair. She told Janae that she wanted a princess haircut. Here's one of the only before pics I took. The princess cut in progress. (That is my brother Kevin in the background) All the hair that was cut off.
