The Funny things kids talk about.

Well just yesterday I was talking to Parker who is obsessed with super heros. He wanted to know what all of the super heros names were. Of course I'm no help, so he asked Travis. He went on to tell him about 6-7 super heros names (like superman is Clark Kent, Batman is Bruce Wayne, spiderman is Peter Parker etc.)


So this morning Parker wakes up earlier than usual and comes into my bedroom and wakes me up. He said, "Mom what is the Hulk's name?" I said, "I don't know Parker", he said, "we have to call Dad at work and find out." Travis wasn't available so we couldn't find out right away which made for a long morning of Parker wanting to call Travis over and over until he answered.


Now we know that the Hulk's name is Dr. Bruce Banner, for anyone that was dying to know.

Hannah is such a good big sister.   She loves to hold Olivia & play with her.  One day she got really quiet & I went in to check on her & she had fallen asleep with Olivia on her.  Tooo cute!!  Olivia 3 months old!  Trying to catch a smile on camera.  So Cute!!! Who really reads my blog???

Well I haven't been good at updating my blog the past little while & often wonder if anyone really even reads my blog. I enjoy reading blogs of friends and family & get bothered when they don't update for months at a time. Well now I'm that person that isn't updating my blog. (oops!!) So I wanted to pass along a little bit of news and happenings at our home lately. Parker is enjoying being a 1st grader. He loves school & has just recently found a true love of reading. His favorite books right now are the Junie B. Jones (series) & The Magic School bus (series). He can't wait for spring to be here so he can start playing soccer again. Hannah keeps us busy. She is definitely a girl and has the attitude that goes along with it. She enjoys her dance class every week and preschool 2 X's a week. Haircut

Hannah has been telling me for months that she needs a haircut and that Janae needed to do it. On Sunday afternoon we went to my mom's house and Janae was there to cut Hannah's hair. She told Janae that she wanted a princess haircut. Here's one of the only before pics I took. The princess cut in progress. (That is my brother Kevin in the background) All the hair that was cut off.
