Hannah's 3rd Birthday!




Well our baby turned 3 on April 16th. Hannah was so excited to have a birthday party. We had my family over for dinner and cake/ice cream. It was fun!

I can't believe how big Angelee's kids are!! It's crazy. Your Mom and Angelee look the same. They must have good genes. (Let's hope I have good genes like that!!)Happy Birthday Hannah!!!

Expressing my feelings.

So this post has taken me a long time to write. I never thought I was the kind of person that kept things inside, and didn't know how to express my feelings. Usually I confront things before they become an issue, but over the past 2 weeks I haven't known how to express my feelings on a particular situation. So since I think of the whole blogging thing as a form of Journal I thought no better way to get a few things off my mind. In November of 2007 I had a miscarriage, when I was 10 weeks pregnant. I didn't want anyone to know that I had a miscarriage so I just kept it inside. (I told family of course) Since then I have been unsuccessful in getting pregnant, so two weeks ago I finally went to talk to my Dr. When I was there he did the routine yearly exam and felt that I had a lump (Nodule) on my thyroid. Growing Olivia

I am not very good at taking pics of my kids.  I never have been.  Here are a few of Olivia that show how much she is changing Olivia on the day she was born.   1 week old.  2 weeks old. 4 weeks old  5 weeks old   7 weeks old  I was trying to catch her smile in these last few pics, but I missed it pretty much every time.  Olivia is getting more fun.  She smiles and coos all the time.  (especially for mommy) She still has her days and nights mixed up.  She is up every 3 hours at night.   Then during the day she sleeps for about 5-6 hours each morning. Our other kids were sleeping 7-8 hours a night by now.  Oh well she is sure cute & we love her so much.

Swimming

Well the summer is passing so quickly. This past week Parker finished his swim lessons. He loved it. Now he thinks he can swim anywhere all by himself, which is a little scary for us. We also went camping with the whole Mechling family this past weekend. We went up to Mantua Reservoir. It was lots of fun. I'll post pic's and info later. Hope everyone is having a fun and busy summer.
