Frontrunner



Well as most of you know the UTA Frontrunner train opened last week. They were giving free rides so I thought it would be fun to take the kids down and pick Travis up from work in Salt Lake. They thought it was cool to be on a train.

We thought that once the train was running that Travis would have a much shorter commute to and from work. So far that isn't the case. The bus for the most part got him to and from work faster. Hopefully UTA is still trying to work the bugs out and that it will get faster. The train station is only about 2 miles from our house and stops in Salt Lake near where Travis works.

I took the Young Women in my ward on the train during one of the free days offered. It was crazy there were so many people wanting a free ride. There was standing room only. It was crazy but the girls had fun.

Hannah is such a good big sister.   She loves to hold Olivia & play with her.  One day she got really quiet & I went in to check on her & she had fallen asleep with Olivia on her.  Tooo cute!!  Olivia 3 months old!  Trying to catch a smile on camera.  So Cute!!! Who really reads my blog???

Well I haven't been good at updating my blog the past little while & often wonder if anyone really even reads my blog. I enjoy reading blogs of friends and family & get bothered when they don't update for months at a time. Well now I'm that person that isn't updating my blog. (oops!!) So I wanted to pass along a little bit of news and happenings at our home lately. Parker is enjoying being a 1st grader. He loves school & has just recently found a true love of reading. His favorite books right now are the Junie B. Jones (series) & The Magic School bus (series). He can't wait for spring to be here so he can start playing soccer again. Hannah keeps us busy. She is definitely a girl and has the attitude that goes along with it. She enjoys her dance class every week and preschool 2 X's a week. Haircut

Hannah has been telling me for months that she needs a haircut and that Janae needed to do it. On Sunday afternoon we went to my mom's house and Janae was there to cut Hannah's hair. She told Janae that she wanted a princess haircut. Here's one of the only before pics I took. The princess cut in progress. (That is my brother Kevin in the background) All the hair that was cut off.
