Minute to win it

Image
So our family has found a new favorite TV show. 2 Sundays ago we watched this show and loved it. We watched it again this past Sunday & all of us especially Parker are hooked. The other day we were outside playing & Parker disappeared. A few minutes later he came back with this set up. A table with paper cups & 3 balloons (just like they do on the show) This game is called "This Blows". You use the air from a balloon that you blow up to knock the cups off the table. Here is Parker trying to teach Hannah to blow up a balloon. She couldn't do it so Parker stepped in to help her. Hannah Trying to knock the cups over. Parker Successfully knocking the cups off the table. He was just too cute!! So any given Sunday Evening you know what the Mackey's will be watching. If you haven't watched it yet we highly recommend it.

Best Buddies

The other night I was upstairs and the kids were downstairs watching TV. I went to see what they were doing & this is what I saw. They were so cute!!! Both kids snuggling up in a blanket together. They are the best of friends MOST of the time. I'm so glad they have each other. We are so excited to add another baby boy to our family this summer. It doesn't seem real yet, but I know that I already have 2 little helpers that are counting down the months/days to July.

St Patty's day

Well as tradition would have it we had our annual Green dinner for St. Patrick's Day. I had a really crazy day so I wasn't very creative. Green meatballs, Green beans, Green rolls, French fries with Green Salt & Green Soda pop. Hannah Smiling for the camera. (Parker trying to steal her beans) Parker wasn't too sure about the food, but loved the beans. Anyway just thought I'd share one of our traditions. The kids asked when we could have a Red day and have everything Red. I'm sure we'll have to do that soon.

Hannah's new haircut

Image
Hannah has been begging for a haircut lately. So she asked my sister Janae to cut her hair. I totally forgot to get a before pic, but her hair was getting way long!! Hannah making faces for the camera. More faces!! All of her hair on the ground . (those tiles are 12x12 tiles) The finished product. Hannah loves her hair cut. She was so excited to show everyone. She went to preschool the next day and came home & said, "all my friends said that they loved my hair mom." I said, "good I'm glad." She said, "Everyone said something expect for Ben (a boy in her preschool class), Why didn't he say anything?" I had to explain that boys just don't really care about hair like girls do. She couldn't understand why that was, but I sure had a good laugh.

Me and my Girl!

So this past week I haven't felt that good, probably a combination of being pregnant & my thyroid levels going a little crazy. Hannah has been such a trooper and endured many long days of doing nothing but staying home. Thanks to my digital babysitter (the TV) she hasn't complained much. So the other day she said she really wanted to take a picture of both of us together. I don't really like taking pictures but how could I say no. " Say Cheese" This is Hannah's favorite pic, with her BIG scared eyes. The other day I was laying on the couch not feeling well and she came over and rubbed my head. too cute!! I love my girl Hannah!!

Week of Vacation

Image
This past week Travis had time off work to celebrate both his birthday (which was 2/14) & my birthday (which is 3/2). We started off by going to Wendover Wednesday night with some of Travis's friends. We stayed at the Nugget Hotel (Thanks Brent & Carissa for the room & dinner). It was fun to spend time with friends and to catch up. Our room was a suite so it had a HUGE jetted tub & I think I spent most of my time there. It was so relaxing & much needed. While we were in Wendover my Mom & Dad watched our kids for us. (Thanks!) They always have so much fun there. Here's a few pics of the fun they had. Playing Dress up. Playing with Legos . We got home Thursday afternoon & decided that we should live up the rest of our week since Travis will most likely not have vacation again for several months. So Thursday night we went and saw the movie The Tooth Fairy. The kids thought it was cute & Travis tolerated it. Then on Friday we went & stayed...
