New to us Car

Image
The past year our car situation has been crazy. Travis takes the bus & or front runner train to work each day so a year ago when his car stopped working we just parked it in the driveway and it's sat there ever since. We have been running as a 1 car family. Which hasn't been that big of a deal, but you have to realize we drive a "KIA" which hasn't been the best car. So the car has many issues and we've put way too much money into it to avoid having a car payment. On October 10 th I was leaving for church and my foot slipped off the brake and i didn't realize it until I hurt a not so good sound. The rear passenger door was open & it hit the post on our carport and the door bent the wrong way. We were able to get the door jammed shut, but wasn't easy to remember not to open it. So that mixed with the fact that our mechanic friend told us not to invest anymore in the car, we decided to hunt for a car. Well if you know me, you know I am

As a mom

Throughout my lifetime I have never been into politics, in fact I have always been of the mindset that someone else can figure that all out for me. Well over the past few months I have been trying to inform myself more about our Country, our constitution, and the way government is supposed to be working. I heard about this website that was put together for mom's, grandmothers, daughters, & guardians of our nation's children. (see link on my sidebar) It is dedicated to the 9 Principles & 12 Values. (see below) The Nine Principles 1. America is good. 2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life. 3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday. 4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government. 5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it. 6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results. 7. I work hard for what I

Parker has wanted to lose a tooth for years. All of his friends have lost several teeth and he thought this day would never come. Well on 9/23 Parker finally lost his first tooth. It had been loose for a few days and his new tooth was already coming in behind it so we convinced him to pull it out. We tied a piece of dental floss to the tooth and he pulled it out himself. Being brave. Then he realized it hurt. and that there was gonna be blood. Here is his tiny little tooth. His new smile without the tooth. He was sure excited for the tooth fairy to come and now he wants to lose more teeth so he can get more $$$$.
