Our Summer happenings

Well after a month of no posts I thought it was time to post something.
We have had a ton of fun this summer and it has just started. Of course as you all know we went to Disneyland the first week in June & had so much fun. It kind of feels like a dream, like we never really went.
Now we have the classic pic in front of the Mickey Mouse.
We had our fair share of adventures while we were there. We arrived in CA on Saturday afternoon & Parker (who had started to get a cold on Friday) was not feeling well. Whenever he gets a cold it goes right to his lungs and he gets really bad asthma. Luckily we brought his Nebulizer with us, but not enough medicine. I called my Dr's office Sunday morning and they called a refill in to a local Walgreens & we thought that would do the trick. Well by Sunday night Parker was miserable. He had a fever, cough & woke up around 1am complaining that his ears hurt. So we've never been to CA & don't know where to go so I ask the hotels front desk lady if there is an insta care nearby. She said there is an emergency room near but that their wait time is 4-6 hrs. She then told me about a hotel Dr that would come to our room within 1hr & that if our insurance covers insta care they would be able to reimburse us once we get home. So we called the Dr & he came within 45 min. & sure enough Parker had a double ear infection, (plus he was able to remove a large ball of hardened ear wax) & Pneumonia. Luckily he gave him 2 shots & within 1 hr Parker was bouncing off the walls again, so off the Disneyland we went.
The kids loved the rides.
Posing for pictures with meemaw & mom,
Pictures with Dad.
One of the highlights of course was seeing all the characters and getting their autographs. Hannah was in heaven with all of them. Parker on the other hand did not want any of the girl characters to sign his book or to have his picture taken with them. He's still upset that Snow white signed his book.
Hannah with Tinkerbell.
Parker with Buzzlightyear.
Travis with Goofy.
It was so much fun sharing this experience with my parents. We had so much fun together. I love them so much & can't wait for our next trip somewhere, sometime.

Last but not least our picture in front of the Castle.
Our kids keep asking us when we get to go back. Well probably not soon enough if you ask me. We had our fair share of adventures, but all in all we had so much Fun!!!!
