Fair Fun

I finally uploaded the pics from my camera so I thought I'd post some of the things we did.

on August 17th (Travis's last day of Paternity Leave)  We thought it would be fun to get out of the house & go to the Davis County Fair.  We have gone every year since we moved to Layton & enjoy it.

 One of our favorite exhibits each year is the Creature Encounters.

We sure had fun again this year & can't wait to go again next year.  

Olivia was officially 2weeks old this day & slept the whole time we were at the fair.  
Here is a pic of her at 2 weeks.  We sure love this girl!!

Hannah is such a good big sister.   She loves to hold Olivia & play with her.  One day she got really quiet & I went in to check on her & she had fallen asleep with Olivia on her.  Tooo cute!!  Olivia 3 months old!  Trying to catch a smile on camera.  So Cute!!! Who really reads my blog???

Well I haven't been good at updating my blog the past little while & often wonder if anyone really even reads my blog. I enjoy reading blogs of friends and family & get bothered when they don't update for months at a time. Well now I'm that person that isn't updating my blog. (oops!!) So I wanted to pass along a little bit of news and happenings at our home lately. Parker is enjoying being a 1st grader. He loves school & has just recently found a true love of reading. His favorite books right now are the Junie B. Jones (series) & The Magic School bus (series). He can't wait for spring to be here so he can start playing soccer again. Hannah keeps us busy. She is definitely a girl and has the attitude that goes along with it. She enjoys her dance class every week and preschool 2 X's a week. She's finally been convinced to write her name H-a-n-n-a-h instead of H-A-n-n-A-H. This battle took a while cause she insisted that she needed c

Haircut

Hannah has been telling me for months that she needs a haircut and that Janae needed to do it. On Sunday afternoon we went to my mom's house and Janae was there to cut Hannah's hair. She told Janae that she wanted a princess haircut. Here's one of the only before pics I took. The princess cut in progress. (That is my brother Kevin in the background) All the hair that was cut off.
