Random updates

Well it's been forever since I posted so I thought I'd give an update.
We are all doing well. Travis & I both celebrated our birthdays over the last month. It was fun. Especially Travis's. I had a Surprise "40th" Party for him & it was a total Surprise for him.
We're just all doing the same old stuff. I keep busy with 3 kids, volunteering at the elementary school & being the Wolf den leader working with 8yr old boys.
Travis keeps busy at work & with church responsibilities.
Parker is still enjoying school & loves to read & LOVES music. Hannah is still all girl & loves to dress up & play with her barbies.
Trevor has done the most change wise. He is getting so big, it makes me sad, I want him to still be a baby.
Here he is in his cute Elephant outfit. I got this from a friend before he was born & was so excited that he fits in it now (yes it is size 12 months)
He has pretty much got the whole sitting thing down. He's still a little tipsy, but so cute!

Trevor almost has the crawl thing down. He will get on all fours & rock back & forth. He can get wherever he wants with his army crawl. Before I know it he is going to be all over this place.
Cute Trevor fell asleep in his highchair the other night while I was making dinner. Too cute!

I can't believe how big Trevor is already! I'm glad I found your blog. I'm not your visiting teacher anymore, so now I'll still be able to keep up with your life.

Expressing my feelings.

So this post has taken me a long time to write. I never thought I was the kind of person that kept things inside, and didn't know how to express my feelings. Usually I confront things before they become an issue, but over the past 2 weeks I haven't known how to express my feelings on a particular situation. So since I think of the whole blogging thing as a form of Journal I thought no better way to get a few things off my mind. In November of 2007 I had a miscarriage, when I was 10 weeks pregnant. I didn't want anyone to know that I had a miscarriage so I just kept it inside. Parker is "6"

Well since I wasn't home this weekend to celebrate Parker's Birthday I thought it would be fun to reminisce about when Parker was born. November 14th 2002 started much like every other day. I was 3 days overdue and so wanted this to be the day that I would have my baby. I had a midweek RS activity at the church that day and went and didn't stop all day. Someones kid would spill and I was the one to hurry and clean it up. I got home that afternoon around 1 or 2 pm & thought I was exhausted so I would lay down for a nap. After about 20 minutes I realized I wasn't going to sleep and got up. I got online paid all the bills that were due later that month, went to the store to buy last minute things & got home around 5:30 when Travis came home. I was exhausted & hungry. Travis decided we should go get some dinner. I went in to go to the bathroom before we were gonna leave. Updates!!

Well here is a brief update since surgery. I went in on Friday at 8:00am & they wheeled my away to surgery at about 9am. Travis didn't hear anything till a little after 12:00. Surgery went well & I was admitted to the hospital to keep watch on my calcium levels. I was in quite a bit of pain this day & was loving the pain meds & slept a lot. Saturday was a better day, I was still in a lot of pain but was able to get up and walk around, shower and feel somewhat better, but still had low calcium levels. Sunday I was hoping to be told I could go home but my calcium levels still were too low. I have to share a few pics that were taken Sunday. !!WARNING!! they are kind of yucky!! This shows the incision/Drain that was in my neck. Here is a closer view. (it really hurt) I had to throw in this pic that Travis took as he left our house Sunday morning to come up to the hospital.
