Frontrunner

Image
Well as most of you know the UTA Frontrunner train opened last week. They were giving free rides so I thought it would be fun to take the kids down and pick Travis up from work in Salt Lake. They thought it was cool to be on a train. Parker Hannah We thought that once the train was running that Travis would have a much shorter commute to and from work. So far that isn't the case. The bus for the most part got him to and from work faster. Hopefully UTA is still trying to work the bugs out and that it will get faster. The train station is only about 2 miles from our house and stops in Salt Lake near where Travis works. I took the Young Women in my ward on the train during one of the free days offered. It was crazy there were so many people wanting a free ride. There was standing room only. It was crazy but the girls had fun.

Well our baby turned 3 on April 16th. Hannah was so excited to have a birthday party. We had my family over for dinner and cake/ice cream. It was fun! Parker, Spencer,Hannah, Shane & Angelee. Hannah was so excited to get barbies. (Meemaw & Shane in the background) Hannah & Shaylee rockin out to music. Hannah's Barbie cake. (Don't laugh! I know it kind of looks like a barbie stuck in a volcano but Hannah thought I was the coolest mom ever for making it.) Blowing out the candles! Hannah and one of her new Barbies. Angelee, Jaycee, & Shaylee. Spencer & Austin. Meemaw & Papa. Shane & Angelee. Travis & Melinda.

Hannah's Haircut

Image
Hannah has always had so much hair. I'll never forget all of her dark curly hair when she was born. She never lost her hair instead it just got blonder and longer. She is almost 3 yrs old and has never had a real haircut, so we went to visit aunt Janae at her Salon Lunatic Fringe. Here's Hannah waiting! She wasn't sure what to expect. "What are you doing Janae?" She always had to look at herself in the mirror. She got a little wiggly. Look at all that hair. Janae gave her a little barbie for sitting still (Kind of still.) Aunt Janae & Hannah! So Cute!! Thanks Janae for the fun Girl Salon Day. Travis picked up Hannah & I got to stay and get my hair cut, colored, & eyebrows waxed. I loved getting pampered. Thanks again Janae!

Children's Museum

Image
Well last week we went to the Discovery Gateway childrens museum. I've heard alot about it and have wanted to go for a while. My kids especially liked the Sesame Street part. Our family pic on the famous Sesame Street porch steps. Parker in the Helicopter. Not his first time in a life flight helicopter. Hannah riding the Horse. Parkers's Favorite part of the Museum was the construction area. He could have stayed there all day. Hannah loved the little house, especially the kitchen. She kept serving me pretend food. She cried when we tried to go to a different area of the museum. Park & Big Bird. Park & Hannah rowing a boat. How cute is that! The Helicopter was very loud!! We took the kids to a little scientist class. They learned all about finger prints and got to make finger print pictures. We had lots of fun at the museum, so much that we bought a 6 month membership. So you know where we will be all summer.

Our Kids are growing up.

Well I have been wanting to post this for a while but didn't want to jinx myself. Hannah is now officially potty trained!!! It's been over 2 weeks since she last wore a diaper. I have been wanting this for a while but it wasn't until she thought it was her idea that it all worked out. Parker loves to draw. He has become quite the little artist. This is his latest drawing of our dog Dewey. The big circle around his neck is his collar. He said it had to go all the way around. (The drawing was done on Hannah's Little Mermaid magna doodle)

Zoo Day!

Well I'ts been years since we went to the Zoo, so when Travis's brother (Robert) & his wife (Melinda) called and invited us to go we were excited. It was such a nice day, we didn't even have to wear jackets. Aaron, Rebekah, Parker & Hannah. Melinda, Hannah, Aaron & Robert. Rebekah & Parker Yes I was there too. Easter

We had such a fun Easter weekend. On Saturday we went to an Easter egg hunt at the Layton IHC clinic. The kids had fun and got lots of candy, toys, & free kids meal coupons to local restaurants. On Sunday morning the kids woke up to an Easter Scavenger Hunt for their baskets. They had so much fun finding the clues. After they found the actual baskets Parker asked if we could hide more Clues. Parker and Hannah. (I was gone Saturday night and Travis put them to bed and in their pajamas. I didn't realize how ridiculous they looked until I loaded these pics onto blogger. oh well.) Hannah finally got a Barbie Doll. She's been wanting one for awhile. Parker got a T-Ball set. He was quite excited. The Chocolate bunny was quite a hit with Parker.
