Mackey Family

Well it's almost that time of year again. Last year I heard of an opportunity that Lagoon had for mom's to work there during the week on school days when they bring in field trips for Jr high & High school kids. The only thing that makes it worth it is they pay you a small wage of $7.50/hr, but then at the end of the school days as long as you work all of the days you get 5 season passports . It works out to be 12 days this year Tuesday-Friday and off by no later that 5:00pm. I didn't think I'd do it again, but this year it will be a lot more fun cause I've convinced about 7 of my neighbors to do it with me. We are gonna have fun!! This year I will be working on the white roller coaster again, with my friend Angie. We start on May 14 th & our last day is June 4 th . My kids already have a count down to June 5 th when they will be able to go to Lagoon. So if you will be at Lagoon this summer chances are we might be there as well.

Well this has been quite the last week. Hannah got sick with a barking cough & fever last thursday and was sick through yesterday. Then Parker came home from school yesterday and said his eyes hurt and that he was sick and needed to go to sleep. He fell asleep for a few hours and woke up with a fever of 101. Then to top it all off I woke up today with PINK EYE! I have NEVER had pink eye so we went to the Dr's to confirm what it was and yes both Parker and I have PINK EYE! Well hopefully we are gonna get rid of this sickness. As a mom it is not fun having your kids sick, but even worse is when you are sick along with them. Mom's shouldn't be allowed to get sick EVER!

Wow how time flies. Hannah turned 4 this last week and I can't believe it. She is growing up so fast. So here's a trip down memory lane.... Hannah was born at 4:18pm on April 16th 2005 weighing 7lbs. 4oz. When they brought her in after her 1st bath I could not get over all of her dark hair. Our 1st family pic. Hannah at 3 months old. (I loved the curly hair) 5 months old. This is one of my favorite pics of Hannah as a baby! I love the pigtails!! 7 months old with brother Parker. Hannah on her 1st birthday! 2nd birthday!! 3rd Birthday!! 4th birthday!! We love Hannah so much. She has brought alot of fun into our family. She is such a girl and loves anything girly ( barbies, babies, pony's, clothes, shoes, etc.) She is so smart and is learning so quickly. She has a great memory & an imagination that keeps us laughing. She is a great sister to Parker and they play very well together (most of the time). We want her to know how much we love her and how grateful we are

Hannah has been telling me for months that she needs a haircut and that Janae needed to do it. On Sunday afternoon we went to my mom's house and Janae was there to cut Hannah's hair. She told Janae that she wanted a princess haircut. Here's one of the only before pics I took. The princess cut in progress. (That is my brother Kevin in the background) All the hair that was cut off.
