So on Valentines day Travis lost his wedding ring. Here's how it all happened... Travis had just put his wedding ring in his shirt pocket so that he could put lotion on his hands and then walked across the street to the neighbors house to get Parker who was sledding in their front yard. Travis being the grown child that he is decided that he too wanted to sled down this mini hill, so he took the sled & went down to hill. He came home and we were getting ready to go out to dinner for his birthday/Valentines day & he realized his wedding ring was missing. He quickly retraced all of his steps and realized the ring must have fallen out of his pocket in the neighbors yard. We went over to look for it & couldn't find it anywhere. Well many of you may not know that Travis is a Valentines Baby. When we first got married Travis informed me that his Birthday 2/14 overrides any national holiday and that we didn't get a valentines. Of course he was kidding and has always done an amazing job of making me feel loved on Valentines. Thanks for being my best Friend & Husband! For being the best DAD!! For always making us laugh!! For being a good sport & always having fun!! I just want to take this opportunity to say, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRAVIS" I love you so much & agree that you are more important than any national holiday to us.

Earlier this week the kids & I decided since Valentines is almost here that we should make our annual Valentine sugar cookies. We had one of Parker's friends (Levi) over at our house & made our cookies. We have a ton of cookie cutters and the kids decided that we didn't need just hearts. Levi, Parker & Hannah The two pics above were taken by Parker & I just thought it was funny how it looks like I was cut in half, while rolling out sugar cookies. We had snowmen, gingerbreadmen, Superman, Bats, pumpkins, arrows, Icecream cones & I managed to get at least 3 hearts. Thanks Levi for sharing in our cookie making fun!!
